Christmas time has come and gone!

Woah, sorry about the lack of posts but this christmas has been busy! We will have lots of content for you for the new year and I got a new blackberry phone for christmas so I can take pictures again and also upload videos from the phone directly to youtube. Now that is handy ^_^

Mining again!

Hey, I woke up this morning to do some mining since the server resets are just complete. And I also sent 2 buddy invites so get 2 friends playing with me.

Later today I hope to do a lot of different things such as checking out missions. I'll be posting about them as I do them later on. Once again sorry about last nights video.

EvE Online - My first skirmish!

I am about to go to bed but I will be uploading a video in the morning. It was a controlled PvP battle within my corp and we were testing out our PvP fittings. This was the first proper PvP combat i've been in and it was really exciting! Check out my channel tomorrow for that. I'll make a post here when it is uploaded.

WoW Arcane!

Just a quick double screenshot showing my new PvP and PvE specs. I swapped to arcane because I play EvE and arcane warps the very fabric of time and space!

Universal Discovery.

Universal Discovery is my new corp in EvE online. We are not part of an alliance yet but on my 3rd day here, which was yesterday, something amazing happened.

So I was doing some scanning in Botane which is the system I do most of my harvesting in, and I discovered a wormhole and I jumped through. Now whenever you discover wormholes they usually take you to a system with no security, meaning PvP will be possible without CONCORD.

I jumped through and warped to a very strange looking planet. But I also discovered that I did not bookmark the location of the wormhole to get back out, since there are no stargates in the system. I alerted my corp and I waited for help and tried to scan out the wormhole again.

Soon, after about 5 minutes of scanning, I realised that I was not alone in the system. There was a group of 5 people, and they were hunting me like prey. I was warp scrambled and my ship was destroyed. However, I managed to escape in my pod. Now when you die in EvE you have the potential to lose so much which makes you really desperate not to die. Now, I was trapped in this system with no map, no scanners to find the wormhole out, no weapons and no ship. I literally learnt what it was like to be stranded.

This event turned into a race between the attackers and my corp. My corp was rushing to get to Botane and scan out that wormhole to save me, and the attackers where rushing to get my killed. They obviously knew that my corp was comming.

It was a very blood rushing event because I was constantly on the run from around 5-7 attackers in my pod. Usually you can always outrun a single person in a pod, since you can instantly warp. However, some of them started to wait at certain planets so when I warped to them, they could already be waiting for me.

Eventually I was caught and killed.

But it was so much fun. That urge of survivability in this harsh universe inspires me to play. The very fact that I had fear emotions because I was being chased while having fun is a feeling that most other games can't do. Like in WoW, dieing is no big deal. You just run back which makes dieing in WoW just something that happens. In EvE death IS a big deal and you strive to avoid it.

That's just one example in EvE that makes it truly the best game I have ever played. Yes a death, that cost me 2 weeks of training time, and I enjoyed every second of it. It was so much fun.

So I managed to successfully launch my processed goods of the temperate planet! I felt really proud of myself as I have been trying to get it to work for some time now. There is no video of this right now but I will probably upload one. I just don't see a point as CCP has a perfect guide linked below here that explains it all very well.

That will do it for tonight. Tomorrow I will probably do some more scanning and focus on fitting my rifter. I also want to get the rifter upgraded to the wolf.

Constructing a colony!

Ah, planetary interaction. I have formed my first working colony. However, to finish the first cycle, it will take over 4 hours. So I decided to post this and let you all know that I am working on it.

So to begin with I built my command center near the dense areas where I can harvest carbon compounds so that I can manufacture them into bio fuels.

I then constructed my extractors and I constructed 1 extractor head to start things of. This way, I would not over load my command centers CPU.

Then I linked a newly constructed factory to my supply chain to process my gathered carbon compounds into bio fuels.

Now I await the first cycle to complete so I can go and collect my goods.

Learning Planetary Interaction.

This video is the official link to CCP's Planetary interaction tutorial. I am going to attempt to learn this and hopefully build a colony the same way. Eventually I will be able to expand on this and hopefully interact with the planets that I discovered with my scanned out wormhole.

My EvE book.

So in real life, I have this book that I like to write down everything that I do in eve (well, thanks that I feel like writing) so I figured, that instead of doing that, I could do all that in this blog as it will give you all more content to read.

For now, I am doing mining, later on I want to do some more exploration with scanning. Probably in Eglennaert. It would be great to have scanned out a wormhole in my home system. I also have no idea what you can find while scanning so it would be awesome to discover some new stuff such as ancient civs.

I am also looking to create some frigates with the mining materials. I have different stations for each of these tasks. I have a Military base, Mining Base, Manufacturing Base, and my Home Station.

It's great to be able to have the different areas assigned to different stations in the game. It also makes storing a lot easier. For example, I can keep all my ammo, and guns in the Military base and all my ore in the Mining base. I transport the processed goods to my manufacturing base and construct the ships for there which then can be sold or exported across the world.

It's such a vast game and I can't wait to get into it.

EvE video currently being uploaded.

I decided to make a video on EvE online this morning. It is basically the best game I have ever played and I want to get as many people playing as I can. I will try to show as many different aspects of EvE as I can but I havn't experienced many. I will start to record alot of what I do on EvE to give players an idea of what the game is like! I may even do a video on the tutorial itself.

EvE online!

As most of you know I play EvE online. This is just a screenshot from long ago and I will be doing lots of posts on EvE too. Possibly more than WoW at this rate. Basically I love pve in EvE. As in indusrty and manufacturing. I also can't wait to get into the PvP and really understand the game well.

The Crimson Whelping.

As you can tell from the title, (there is no exclaimation mark), I diddn't get this pet. STILL! The pet drops in the wetlands and I am determined to get back there and farm again!

I will farm for as long as it takes outside of my PvP time. So I will get the best honour gear first and delay fishing training with the exception of doing the dailys, until I get it.

I woke up this morning really down. I hate having stupid nightmares but I won't go into that. I was just thinking that I think I better clear this up now because last time, I forgot and people were kind of confused.

This blog is NOT just about WoW or games. This blog is about me. And what I feel like writing. It will most certainly be based on WoW and all the features will be returning.

I'll also be getting a phone soon so you can expect some real life photos too!

My specs!

So before we get into awesome posting and some really cool uploads, I thought I would go over my specs. I know I constantly changed specs in the past but my favourite spec has always remained the same. Frost. However, now that we have dual spec, I have a frost PvP spec and a fire PvP spec.

The reason I diddn't do this before was that I needed to hav

e a World PvP spec. A spec with mana resoration for doing dailys. I just had a strange feeling that made me make these stupid specs. However, it is great that I have gotten over that and it is my pleasure to announce my two specs.

My main spec is frost.

It has 32 points in frost and has blazing speed and impact in fire. I chose this spec because, firstly, i've never seen anyone with this exact spec. The idea is to use blazing speed to excape from feral druids and rogues. Impact assures extra interupts and I do not take improved counterspell since it feels useless in Cataclysm with the new specialisations.

This is my shatter fire spec. The tactic behind this is to double crit with scorch and fire blast against a frozen target. Shatter allows this like it does for frost. I also take improved cone of cold for a 6 second cooldown of a 4 second freeze. It is hard for me getting used to having Cone of Cold and Dragons breath. But this spec is fun overall.

I have returned to WoW! And sorry about not posting here. I havn't used this site in some time. I said I would keep this going from my birthday and I think I need to keep to it. I focus more on PvP and my youtube channel will also be showing all my videos that I make. I will post here often too too keep things smooth.
