Where have I been?

I suppose you are all wondering where the hell I have been this last week or so. Well I have been trying out every posisble spec for all my classes on WoW and I have had alot of work to to.

Finally I have been able to get my course started and things should be back on track however, I may be changing the day that Stevezspot Live airs. I'll give you more info asap and I know that I have been away for some time so i'll be giving you an update show tonight at 6pm GMT on the stream.

Home again

Ok guys, I am home again and for security reasons I cannot say why. I will be returning to the Playgroup once my Police check has returned.

WoW: New talent patch!

So today it is 7:41am and I am about to head up to the playgroup when I thought I would write this. The new patch today consists of the new talent points for cataclysm and also, it contains alot of other minor changes such as emblems are being converted to justice points.

It's going to be a very busy week on my behalf so incase you are wondering about the lack of posts this is the reason why. I also have to go to my dads shop today possible but my mum has said as long as I run into a shop for her, she will let me go home from there which would only take about 45 minutes.

Also, Stevezspot Live! this week will be mostly basied on this patch. About my thoughts, about my new spec, about my thoughts on cataclysm and about the changes to the mage class all together.

Monday Massace

I diddn't get going because the raid leader made another guild officer the raid leader and he hates me so I diddn't get going.

Sc2: Fustrated

I played a few matches today and I still am not having fun. I seem to be doing things correctly but it still doesn't seem to be going well for me. I will not be playing any more Sc2 games today most likely. At least there is a raid this evening to keep me going.

WoW: New gear today

Currently I have 50 Frost Emblems, however, that is enough for the cape. I could also wait and save for the shoulders for 60 emblems but that depends wether I get to go to the raid tonight. I'll see how it goes.

Sc2: Zerg needs buffed.

Wow... I have a shock for you all this evening. Too all that read that title and said, oh, let's see his ideas, are going to be shocked big time. Get to the show tonight to find out why. In the last 2 hours, my opinions have changed drastically.

Sc2: FINE!

Ok to those who are concerned, I won't give up on Sc2. But you have to understand how fustrated I am at it right now. Blizzard have finally made the changes that are required for Zerg and already there are morons crying saying that Zerg are OP. No guys, Zerg is not OP Zerg is still catching up to the other races, so stop crying and get out of my internet. ^_^

WoW: Tonight ICC live!

Just a reminder that tonight at 5pm GMT we will be doing an ICC video live. Hopefully it won't destroy my internet. We may have to take breaks in the stream to reduce lag but we'll see how it goes!

GTA: Current progress

Quite alot has happened in GTA this week. I think rather than doing a mass post on it, I could show you on this weeks show so that will be on Friday.
Currently I am in San Ferrio. Doing missions there, i'll go over it in more detail for you on the show.

SSLive!: The Sc2 segment this week.

I'll continue to do this weeks segment on Starcraft 2 and try to hold back my fustration as much as possible for the Meltdown. And for those who are curious and will miss tommorows show (one time show), here is the segment list:

Sc2: I have finally quit. (Warning major rant inc, if you havn't got the spine to cope with it, don't read it)

Ok so to all readers, I have finnaly quit starcraft 2. Why? Because it blows.. It is aweful, the game is NOT balanced, there are tons of retards that play it (Oh another game you have Blizzard which retards play, what a surprise), and it is impossible to have fun in an environment that doesn't even allow you to have chat rooms. Yes, BattleNet does not have chatrooms.. Ugh.

The thing that annoys me most, is all the bleeding heart morons, that are lile, "Oh the game is fine, Zerg are not under powered". See to them morons, this is what I say. "Tell me any other game that has 1 race that is CEARLY underpowered. In order to win, you need to me WAY more skilled, and I am not talking slightly, you need a conciderable about of skill to beat even the low level Terran players.

There is a reason that there are NO players that have played Zerg full time since Beta that actually think that the race is balanced. It's as simple as that. The facts are clear that Zerg are struggling to keep up. Another quote from TL: "Zerg players have to swim upriver while a Terran Players speeds down a water slide". You know.. that is so true and I cannot stand these people that actually think the game is balanced. To them people, YOU are the reason this world is a mess. It't not the wars, it's not the damn religon arguements, it's not the economy, it's MORONS like you that have no idea what to think.

Most of these players are actually Terran/Protoss players that are actually a bit worried that Zerg may be brought to Balance and they might actaully have to use skill? OMG what are Blizzard thinking? We have to use skill?

Ok I don't want to rant too much now about this as you will hear it on this weeks show. I can promise that. I was actually gotta rant about Farmville but you know what, Farmville is currently a better game than Sc2. And you know what, even if they do fix it, my fun has already been ruined and I will not be going back to playing it ever. So anyone that was here just for Sc2, sorry.

Sc2: A last hope for Zerg players everywhere. Really? I don't think so.

So I decided to give this game a last hope and watch the GSL finals with Cool. Unfortunately I could not find a FULL match anywhere so if any of you know where to find one, gimme linkz!

But from what I seen, there is no doubt that this player is an outstanding player but the problem still persists for me. I will NEVER and most players will NEVER be able to play at that standard. A quote from TL: "Zerg players have no choice but to overcome the game balance by skill". Yes that is TL (TeamLiquid) admitting that there is a severe problem in balance and just because 1 player can be that damn good, does not mean that every other player can be like it.

So my problem still stands, the game is NOT balanced and favours Terran mostly. I still get that aweful feeling in ZvT where it's like "Do I really want to play this again?", especially since I nearly ALWAYS fight terran, it's like most of the retarded players can play Terran and win.

Now I am not saying that my Zerg play is awesome, it's far from it, however I know (I have replays) when I have outplayed my opponent and when they still win because they are Overpowered, I would be a complete moron to continue playing a game like that.

What does that do? It doesn't help anyone.

The Zerg Swarm (Starcraft 2)

Ok guys, this is my first time playing Starcraft 2 in ages. I got bored but more on that on Friday. This is what my stats currently are. I'll be playing Starcraft 2 a bit more today to try and get back into it. More specifically, the 14 hatch 14 pool that my friend Andrew was telling me about.

Yes I have alot of music now for my music bed, however I don't want to have to keep changing it. I want 3 or 4 that I will always play and they can be the kind of theme of the show. Currently I have alot but for the next few shows on Fridays i'll be testing how the music goes =]

GTA: A plane crash?!

Just an interesting post. I was playing GTA and about 1 min before I posted this, I was driving along the Motorway to my next mission and (seriosuly), a plane crashed in front of me and caused a mass chain of explosions and chaos on the road. It was rather odd.

So my best mate on WoW has this amazing website full of well taken pictures. It is not something I see all the time and i'm not sure of the purpose of this site but readers... I don't know if he did this intentionally but each picture he has up there feels like it has some sort of meaning. It's strange, or maybe it's just me, but you should definately check it out, i'll be encouraging everyone I know to have a look at it. It is well worth 10 minutes of your time.

GTA: A very annoying mission.

I'll go more into this rant on the show, but to be brief, you have no idea how damn annoying it is to fail on a mission that involves DDR of all things and nothing to do with fighting skills!

Mondays Mail

Hmm, was intersting but I got 2 mails this week both asking the same question.

"Can you do a show during the week?"

Well, I was concidering doing one on Mondays called the Monday Massacre. And I chose Monday since it is a dull day and maybe it could brighten up a few of you if you had a boring day ar school/work. So yeah, i'll be trying that this evening though I kind if need to spread word.
Monday Massacre will be on air at 6pm GMT and Stevezspot Live! will air at 10pm GMT Fridays.

Monday massacre will usually be a quick review on a game that I have played lately or something cool that I have done over the week. It will most likely only be a 30 min show.

I think tonight we will do some sc2 games. But i'll see.

Current progress on GTA

As of now the game is 62% downloaded with 2 hours 20 mins to go. Also I was speaking to one of my friends who wants me to cast once of his sc2 games so I may be doing that throughout the week to test it out, so keep an eye on the updates here and on facebook for more info!

Saturday night with Luppa!

Hey guys back again for another post of saturday night with luppa. Incase you havent noticed, its luppa actually posting this for those who are getting confused.

We started the day by going to our favourite restaurant and we got a really nice chinese meal :). Later we just went down to stevez's house and did research on the yugioh online game. We were both really interested, as we both miss that game :(. Also, merlin was on that day so we watched it, unfortunately the internet lied to us and give us a different starting time and we missed it, so we just watched it on iplayer :). We also watched some yugioh episodes because the storylines were AWESOME. Not as much as steve but oh well xD.

Overall teh night was epic and we always seem to have a good time in eachothers company, which many friends lack unfortunately. But yes it was awesome :D

GTA San Andreas

Quick post to infrom you that I am downloading GTA Sandreas so you can expect some of that maybe on the stream depending on how entertaining I think it will be. From the time of writing this, it says it will take up to 5 Hours 41 Mins.

Yu Gi Oh Online (My review)

Well the game is decent but I am having some problems. The cost to play this game well can be rather expencive and right now, I just cannot afford to be able to spend money on all these cards.

Also, the number of young people playing that say "Loooooooser" "ur g@y" "u suck" "haha i pwnd u", is actually pathetic. There are no features to block duel chat since to be very honest, I understand that there are going to be kids playing this game, but I can't be bothered putting up with their pathetic ways of thinking they are tough.

Overall, the game is ok, I can't make a full opinion on it yet as I am still stuck with the starter deck and the ONLY way to get new cards is to buy them. There is nothing you can do ingame to actually gain cards at ANY pace. In my opinion, you should be able to get at least a few free starter packs or simply be able to earn a new pack every 50 duels or something.

Just something to allow us to see if the game is actually work paying for because right now, I am getting thrashed by players with decks they bought at low level and it's actually quite fustrating when you know you are trying to use a strategy and your opponent wins ONLY because he spams level 4 1800 attack monsers and you just can't keep up.

An example of this is I played a guy this morning, who opened the conversation saying "Fack u, u must suck". Now this guy was the same level as me, yet he had bought a full out GX deck. Literally, he played no magic/trap cards. It was all level 4 monsters with high attack. I couldn't hold off since my cards are not up to that standard. Throughout this entire match, this kid would not stop throwing every insult every time he made a move and it took him long enough since I was using trap cards well and when I actually coutnered one of his moves, he comes out with the following; "Fack you, y u not let me win u jew"

Now this too me is another step down from the entitled causal of WoW but I guess, they are kids but come on.. when I was young, around 13 I played Runescape and I would never have spoken to another player like that.

I'll be doing more on this game on Stevezspot Live! so check that out if you want and i'll hopefully be getting at least 1 starter pack somehow this week to give you a proper review on the show.

Yu Gi Oh Online

So I have been playing a game called Yu Gi Oh online today and it was great fun, i'll be doing a segment on my show on Friday for you all to enjoy.

A station seige!

So EvE was about 3 minutes from it's daily downtime and what did I find? I was out to collect some goods I bought from the market and the station that I just bought the items from was under seige when I arrived. I could not enter this station due to fear of dieing.

This is one of my first encounters of a small attack on an npc building and it was interesting. As you can see in that picture, my Megatron is comming along very well and i'll be posting about the Mission Op shortly as it is happening just after the downtime.

How I should be training my Skills

I have decided on a skill training pattern. During the day while playing i'm going to train the skills that I need for things short term such as combat ships, drones, weapons ect.

And over night i'll keep up my long term skills for my Hulk. This means that while playing I won't be stuck with the same stuff all the time however, it does delay the time needed for me to get the hulk.

Anyway, EvE is going off shortly for the usual downtime so i'll be playing WoW and I shall add the follower gadget as a request from Charlie.
